Vibram Five Fingers Item ID: #20Womens Kso Vibram FivefingersProduct Information:
Item DescriptionThe KSO remains among our most versatile styles for women. Featuring a thin, abrasion-resistant stretch nylon and breathable mesh upper that wraps your entire forefoot to “Keep Stuff Out.” A single hook-and-loop closure helps secure the fit. A non-marking 3.5mm Vibram TC1 performance rubber outsole is razor-siped for a sure grip, and a 2mm EVA insole enhances plating protection and comfort. When it comes to hiking, jogging, running, climbing or other forms of exercise, the standard athletic shoes often leave a lot to be desired. Some of the problems inherent to standard shoes are that they can be heavy, constricting or loose in places, and sometimes can end up being more of a pain than a fitness asset; literally. This is why the fivefingers Vibram shoe is such a revolutionary design by comparison. To begin with, Vibram shoes are extremely lightweight because they are built using thin materials. As a matter of fact, they’re so light that people who wear them often comment that it’s much like going barefoot without the discomfort of truly going barefoot. This featherweight shoe design allows your fitness endeavors to be much easier and more effective at the same time. Body movements become more natural, as if you really are going barefoot! Without argument, the body was designed to walk and run naturally and, when you are wearing a pair of Vibram shoes, it is as near as you can get to leaving your feet fully exposed to the elements by wearing nothing at all. This might sound quite weird and even a bit dangerous but not so much when it comes to these unique shoes by Vibram. After all, you may be asking yourself, how can a shoe that is so lightweight properly protect your feet? Well, that is a good question! The simple fact is, your feet are fully protected on the bottom by a patented rubber sole that provides excellent grip, traction and feeling. They are also fully protected on the top by strong, tear-resistant fabrics and materials. Finally (and this may be the weirdest part!) the fivefingers Vibram shoes have toes! Yes, I said toes! You see, each of your toes fits snugly into its own space. The reasoning behind this is to help improve both your balance and agility. Granted, it’s an odd-looking shoe! But it’s also a groundbreaking shoe that helps make every step you take more natural, healthy and strong. Related posts: Item Reviews3 Responses to “Womens Kso Vibram Fivefingers”Leave a Reply |

Wonderful for getting up and down my very steep avocado grove. I get easy toe holds impossible with shoes. And the shoes mold the ground feeling like a wonderful foot massage. Seems to be helping my bum knee and sciatica too. But the sizing is small. I measured out as a 39, but they were too tight. I managed to stretch the toes with solvent. I got a 40 which is just right without toe socks. But my next will be 41 so I can use toe socks.
It is now October and I’ve been meaning to add to my Vibram review. My 15 year old bunions are disappearing and one is about gone. And I’m an old lady.
I am a male but have the Sprints and they are pretty much the same thing for male or female. These are great for p90x, insanity, lifting, some running, but….running on pavement is a horrible experience. I have been running for over two years and when first using these they were great. The days that followed blisters and more blisters, soreness went away but blisters never did if I ran over 3 miles or so. What I ended up doing was incorporating them into my running routine as a different workout to strengthen different muscles. One morning just a easy run up paved and just like that I was off a week due to my achilles so sore couldnt harldy walk, per Doc orders. Talking to the foot doctor he wasn’t completely against the Vibrams he said run with them on soft ground and stay off the pavement with them. I guarantee you will notice a difference in muscles you use with these. If anyone on here doesnt get blisters when running with them, please tell me how and I even wore the socks with them.
Please note that I don’t know how many stars to award for this product. I do think that the seller was A-1, at least. What I want to say in my review is that I am unable to get these shoes on my feet. The difficulty seems to relate to the shape of my toenails, several of which seem to swoop upwards. I think this particular shoe design only works for people who have toenails that are either flat or downward-sloping. So, keep that in mind as you investigate these. Since I was unable to get them on my feet, I really can’t say how well they work, or how they truly feel. I offer this review in the hopes that others with upward-swooping toenails will be advised that these shoes may not work for them.
