This version of Monopoly uses a timer to limit game play time. Brilliant move!
Endless play-time to finish the original version of the game had discouraged me from playing; 3+ hours on one game was way too long for me. The timer limits you to one hour and gives you warnings when you are getting close. I don’t dread the thought of starting a game anymore.
Thanks to the manufacturers for making Monopoly enjoyable for me again!
We have played Monopoly for years. We all think the city version is the best.
Don’t expect a game that is an enhancement of “regular” monopoly. It’s essentially a different game with a different rhythm and not as satisfying to play as the “old-school” Monopoly, according to my sources, ages 9-18, two boys and one girl. They like it “OK.” Except for the novelty of it, I don’t think that my kids will play it for long. It won’t become a family favorite the way that Monopoly, Life, and Uno are. It also needs more buildings. We’ve supplemented with Lego buildings.
I just got this game three days ago and I absolutely love it!!! Turns take a while because you have the option to build buildings and you have to go through a long process. Other than that, this is a pretty fun game!!! I LOVE IT!!!
I never thought a game can be that much fun other than the roller coaster.
I developed an addiction to this game!!
Monopoly City is the best game i have ever played.
