   We bought this for my daughters 2nd birthday and she loves it. (I even catch my 7 year old using it too!) It was very easy to assemble. Very sturdy. There are three different settings. My daughter is 34″ and the lowest setting is perfect for her. No accessories come with easel, must be purchased separately. Paper roll and eraser are great. I bought crayola washable markers for the paper and white board. They come off the board (and your child) with wet paper towel! I have been purchasing Melissa and Doug products for years with great success! This purchase was no different. They make product that with stands use and abuse by 4 kids and their friends.

   I bought this for my 2 and 4 year olds. They love it! And I must say it has a very good quality chalkboard and whiteboard! (I have had the crayola brand and the writing surfaces just did not last long at all.)
   I did season the chalkboard 3-4x so maybe that is why it works so well! I also purchased the paper to go on the roll but have not tried it yet. I am too afraid to bring out the paints as of yet, lol!

   My one complaint is that the whiteboard is not magnetic. My kids are used to having whiteboards that are also magnetic. Other than that it is perfect! My kids play with it for hours.

   I just bought this easel for my 5 year old, and was worried after having read so many complaints about the chalk board side, but apparently, there was no reason to worry because we didn’t have to sand or prep or do anything at at all! The chalk glided on and off as it should. Everything else about the easel is perfect as well, especially that it is height adjustable so that she can use it as she grows! EXCELLENT EASEL!
   BTW- definitely reccommend buying the Melissa&Doug accessory kit as well!

   This was a birthday gift for my 4-year old daughter. It was REALLY simple to put together, and it provides hours of fun with lots of variety.
